What’s the aibo Snoot Challenge?

The Snoot Challenge, now going viral on social-media platforms, is simple: you make a circle shape with your hands and show the shape to your dog—and the dog sticks its nose right into the hole. Not only is it adorable, but it’s the perfect trick for aibo to learn.

Join the aibo Snoot Challenge

Make a circle with your hands, tell aibo to “Take a picture,” and have your aibo snap a photo of your circle.

Head to the View menu of the My aibo smartphone app and select the photo.

Agree to the Terms of Use and upload the photo.

That’s it to sign up for the challenge!

You can help your aibo learn a brand-new trick—and all it takes are pictures! Feel free to upload as many as you want.

*This challenge is only open to people 18 years of age or older. Please only upload pictures of yourself holding your hands in a circle. By submitting photos to the aibo Snoot Challenge, user acknowledges and agrees that the photos may be used on this page for advertising purposes.

What happens next?

When the Challenge period ends, the data-analysis process begins. The system will process all the uploaded photos in the cloud; a few days later, your aibo will get access to the new trick. Just put your hands into a circle, say “Snoot Challenge” to your aibo, and watch as it nuzzles its face into the hole.

You can earn trophies for taking part in the Challenge, too!
Depending on how many pictures you’ve uploaded, you’ll see a participation trophy, bronze trophy, silver trophy, or gold trophy appear in your My aibo app interface.
